CRYOBANK

BACTERIA STORAGE AND CONSERVATION

  APPLICATIONS

CRYOBANK™ is based on a cryovial system comprising chemically treated beads covered with a special cryogenic preserving solution.

CRYOBANK™ offers a reliable, convenient and versatile system for storing and preserving fastidious bacteria over long period.

CRYOBANK™ is less expansive than lyophilisation, repeated subculture or purchasing commercially available control organisms. It permits the easy establishment of culture collections for laboratory accreditation or research purposes.

CRYOBANK™ is suitable for use in all laboratories dealing with bacteria including:
clinical, water, brewing, veterinary, food, pharmaceutical, dairy, biotechnology...

> Cryobank Red (64 cryovials)

SIMPLE TO USE PROCEDURE: Recovery of the organism

5) Remove the CRYOBANK tube from the freezer. If several tubes are being removed at once, thawing should be prevented by use of a cryoblock. Open the vial and remove a bead by inserting a sterile needle through the hole or by using sterile forceps.

6) The bead may then be dropped into an appropriate liquid medium.
