GENOMIC - RNAi - PROTEOMIC
I.M.A.G.E. Clones : MGC, XGC, ZGC
EST Clones, Full-Length Clones, ORF Clones...
  Human shRNA/miRNA Library
Human RNAi Resources

IMAGE Consortium make high quality, arrayed cDNA libraries available to the community. Each clone has been given a unique I.M.A.G.E. ID to facilitate reference. The sequence, mapping and expression data has been placed in the public domain. These clones are available to anyone agreeing with their guidelines.

Human shRNA Library: a short-hairpin RNA (shRNA) library has been constructed by the ′The Netherlands Cancer Institute′ (NKI). This library has been tailored specifically for applications in mammalian cancer genetics. ...

Human miRNA Library (miR-Lib): Small, endogenous (miRNAs) regulate gene expression by mechanisms conserved across many multicelluar organisms. Recent studies have suggested that miRNAs have a role in cellular differentiation, tissue specification, apoptosis and the development of various human cancers. Uncovering the functions of the growing list of miRNAs presents a challenge to developmental biologists. ...

Mammalian and Non-Mammalian Clones

ORFeome Collaboration was formed, in late 2005, to meet the need of the research community for an unrestricted source of fully sequence-validated full-ORF human cDNA clones in a format allowing easy transfer of the ORF sequences into virtually any type of expression vector. One of the main goal of the project is to provide at least one fully sequenced full-ORF clone for each of the ~18,500 currently defined human genes.

Campylobacter. jejuni ORF Collection is the most commonly recognised cause of bacterial gastroenteritis in humans. Initial difficulties in culture requirements, and attempts at genetic modification held back the progress in understanding this organism compared to other enteric pathogens...

C. elegans ORF-RNAi Library v1.1: This ORF-based RNAi library is ideal for either high-throughput screening or individual knockdown experiments. This library contains 11,511 RNAi clones, which targets 10,953; 485 of these genes are targeted by 2 or more constructs, and therefore covers the potential knockdown of 55% of the 19,920 unique protein-coding genes predicted in "worm sequence" 112...

Proteomic Resources

Clones will be end sequenced before they are sent to you - you only pay for the clones that BLAST match with the I.M.A.G.E. id you requested. This risk free option saves you time when you get your clone and removes the chance of receiving one of the wrong clones that are inherent in all copies of the I.M.A.G.E library.
Successfully verified clones (>95% identity after quality clipping) will be shipped to you and we will include a BLAST report in the packet
No charge will be made for failed clones.
